Wśród nowych projektów emulatorów (a jak chce autor symulatorów) konsol Sony, warto rzucić okiem na hpsX, wymagającego 64-bitowej dystrybucji Windows. Autor projektu, ukrywający się pod nickiem TheGangster wykorzystując kod MESS i PCSX i dzięki pomocy Martina Kortha (seria no$cash, w tym no$psc) i drHell twórcy, ostatnio, nie aktualizowanego emulatora Xebra/Abrex serwuje nam program, który powoli zaczyna nabierać rumieńców. Co prawda, póki co, autor skupił się przede wszystkim na module emulacji psx1, jednak w planach ma także odpalenie drugiego modułu pozwalającego symulować działanie konsoli PS2. Na tym etapie projektu, jednak to jeszcze odległa przyszłość.

Nowa poprawka dla emulatora SONY PLAYSTATION - PCSXR. Co prawda rozwój tego emulatora dotyczy przede wszystkim wersji GTK (linux i dla masochistów win) i MacOS, jednak wprawne oko znajdzie także pare fixów dla wersji Windows.

Pojawiła się kolejna aktualizacja pakietu "EmuCenter", zestawu emulatorów udających konsole Nintendo - Nes,SNES, GB, N64, GC, DS and Wii; Segę: SMS, SMD, GG, Saturn i DC, Sony :PS1/2 a także PSP; Neogeo i systemy arcade (Capcom CPS, CPS3, Taito, Sega model 2, Arcade LaserDisc) a także Turbographx.

Martin Korth autor popularnej serii emulatorów no$cash (no$sns,no$gba,no$nes, no$msx, no$sns, no$cpc, no$c64, no$gmb, no$k2) dorzucił kolejny emulator - tym razem na jego warsztat trafił udawacz konsoli SONY Playstation I - no$psx. Tym razem, tak jak i poprzednio, skaner antyvirusowy blokuje mi dostęp do pliku (Win32:MalOb-ID [Cryp]), na 88% jest to false-positive, dla odważnych - http://nocash.emubase.de/no$psx.zip.

PPSSPP jest kolejnym młodym projektem emulatora Sony PSP, napisanym w C++ przez jednego ze współautorów emulatora Dolphin udającego konsolę Nintendo Wii/GameCube Henrika Rydgarda, jednak od wczoraj zyskał on, podobnie jak Dolphin status open source i każdy może korzystać z repozytorium na githubie. Z wersji na wersję aplikacja nabiera rozpędu i jeśli utrzyma tempo, za parę miesięcy, być może zdystansuje konkurencję. A na chwilę obecną? Czuć zmiany... idzie ku lepszemu:)
