This video explains how various parts of my Commodore 64 Game called "Spaced Out" was developed back in 1992. This video has been cut short though due to my Camtasia losing audio after so long. I called TechSmith about this, but no one has been able to fix it yet. Therefore I cannot load videos much over 30 minutes.I will try to make other videos later when I have time. Also I am writing this game out by hand since I have no way to transfer my C64 diskette software to my PC. So I appreciate your patience. However this will be a great learning experience for anyone whoever wanted to dive into their own 100% assembly language game for the Commodore 64. Just imagine, soon you could be creating your own Pitfall, River Raid, Asteroids, etc. Anyway it has been quite some time since my last real good video for the C64. I hope you enjoy this. Part two of explaining how the C64 game "Spaced Out" was developed in C64 Assembler. Hope you enjoy it. I lost the audio again at the end and had to cut the video short.
Finally I need to submit a correction (possibly seen in this video). The correct math to calculate the high/low bytes of the CLRMEM label is:
(8 * 256) = 2048 + 64 = 2112 (I am lost without my C64 when doing this, lol)
This section is used to clear the sprite memory to remove any garbage that may be resident there.

At long last I have finally decided to sit down and write a full-length ebook on Commodore 64 Assembly Language game design. This will be a comprehensive tutorial where I attempt to teach assembly language, conversion of Basic to Assembly language, and end up showing you how the game "Spaced Out" works on the inside.
Please note: This will consume a lot of my time, which I will have to balance with my new social life as well. So for now, I have not decided to set a deadline of its release. Also I have not yet decided on a price for this eBook either.
However you are welcome to contact me regarding the progress. Also I appreciate inspiring words to move me during this time of prose. Thank you.
