Nowa wersja Steem'a gotowa do sciagniecia z AArea. Jak pisza autorzy Anthony i Russell Hayward zawiera mnostwo poprawek i nowosci, a m.in: MIDI in and out (experimental). Printer out (requires an ST compatible printer). Custom disk images, up to 2.3Mb! Easy import of WinSTon favourites. Rapid creation of multiple shortcuts. Overscans improved - will always happen if needed. DMA sound made safe for all sound cards. ENTER and keypad / are now different (Damocles). Fixed a few IKBD bugs (Chubby Gristle, The Pink Panther). Fixed a minor Timer B bug (Hot Rubber, Batman titles). Turn hard drives off without losing the path. Auto update - Can download a new version when available if you want it » więcej

Przed chwilą dostałem maila z wiadomością, że STeem 1.1 już jest dostępny. Zassać go można oczywiście z AArea. O to co m.in. nowego (pełna lista na AArea): Zipped disk images supported. Fixed STOP command to make Team work. HBL interrupt fixed. Improved syncronization generally. Fixed MFP timer counter reset bug - fixing most palette switching problems. KaosTos and Tos 2.05 bugs fixed. More forgiving for disk images, 84 tracks allowed. Ostatnio coś podejrzanie obrodziły emulatory AtariST, nieprawdaż ? Czy to coś znaczy ? Może twórcy PacifiSTa się wreszcie odezwą :)

Ukazał się najnowszy `udawacz` AtariST dla Windows. Emulator prezentuje się całkiem miło i przyjemnie, mimo że do doskonałości np. PacifiST`a, łatwości obsługi WinSTon`a niestety trochę jeszcze mu brakuje. Plik jest do pobrania jak zwykle z AArea. Uwaga ! Będziecie potrzebowali do uruchomienia emulatora image`u TOS`u (w dowolnej wersji).

EmuTOS is a Free operating system for computers based on Motorola 68000 or ColdFire microprocessors. It features functionality similar to TOS, which powered the Atari ST and its successors between 1985 and 1994. EmuTOS can run on real hardware, either as ROM replacement or from floppy. Of course, it also runs happily on any Atari emulator such as ARAnyM, Hatari, or Steem SSE. EmuTOS is Free Software, so it is better than TOS in several ways: It can be freely used and redistributed with emulators, in respect of the GPL licence. This way, users can run legacy third-party software on emulators without requiring copyrighted Atari ROMs, thereby avoiding legal issues. It can be improved, to support more features and more hardware than Atari TOS. It is actively developed and supported.

ST Recover
