Dr.Hell zaktualizował kod tandemu jednego z najlepszych emulatorów SONY PLAYSTATION - XEBRA/ARBEX i zrobił to już spory czas temu, ale jakoż, że pojawił się changelog i jest to jeden z wierniejszych emulatorów psx1 (bez zbędnych wodotrysków) warto go odnotować bardziej niż tylko wpisem w liście nowych plików.

Nowa wersja multiemulatora BizHawk. napisany w C# multiemulator pozwala udawać konsole: Nintendo Entertainment System / Famicom / Famicom Disk System (NES/FDS), Super Nintendo (SNES), Nintendo 64, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Super Gameboy, Sega Master System, SG-1000, Game Gear, Sega Genesis / Sega-CD, Sega Saturn, PC-Engine (TurboGrafx-16) / CD-ROM, SuperGrafx, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari Lynx, ColecoVision, TI-83 Calculator, Wonderswan, Gameboy Advance, Apple II i dzięki kodowi MednaFen także Sony Playstation i PcEngineFx, emulacji Intellivision i Commodore C64. Wśród nowych projektów emulatorów (a jak chce autor symulatorów) konsol Sony, warto rzucić okiem na hpsX, wymagającego 64-bitowej dystrybucji Windows. Autor projektu, ukrywający się pod nickiem TheGangster wykorzystując kod MESS i PCSX i dzięki pomocy Martina Kortha (seria no$cash, w tym no$psc) i drHell twórcy emulatora Xebra/Abrex, serwuje nam program, który powoli zaczyna nabierać rumieńców.

Od pierwszej wzmianki na temat tego emulatora konsoli SONY PLAYSTATION III na try2emu upłynęlo 5 lat, to szmat czasu i sporo projektów wykrusza się w ciągu 2, 3 lat od pierwszej alphy. RPCS3 przeszedł obronną ręką przez dzieciństwo, emulator ma się całkiem dobrze i oficjalnie oznajmia, że potrafi odpalić już całkiem pokaźną kolekcję tytułów dla tej konsoli - z 2396 gier testowanych na kolejnych wersjach RPCS3 w chwili obecnej 247 tytułów jest całkiem grywalnych, 739 "pada" podczas gry a intro zobaczymy 739 tytułach. Może ktoś narzekać, że co to jest 10% tytułów i sama jakość emulacji też jeszcze pozostawia sporo do życzenia (przede wszystkim na ilość FPS;)), jednak trzeba sobie przypomnieć, że 5 lat temu emulacja PS3 była traktowana jako żartobliwy niespełnialny sen - zresztą » więcej
