Phantasy Star is a landmark game for the Sega Master System, first released in Japan on 20th December 1987. This project is an unofficial retranslation/relocalisation based on that first Japanese version, with some enhancements.

HiSMS is a little bit different Sega Master System emulator. The original Master System screen image is composed by 8x8 pixels, 16 colors sub-images called “tiles”. The goal of this emulator is to replace these tiles by 32x32 pixels, 32 bits colors (alpha) images, resulting in a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. HiSMS uses Direct3D 7. It's recommendable 256MB of RAM, a X86 MMX processor and a 32MB 3D video card to play.

FreezeSMS is an emulator which works under Windows. As the name suggests an emulator "emulates" or mimics something. In FreezeSMS's case it emulates old consoles and computer systems. The software from these systems can then be run on this emulation and it doesn't know that it isnt on the original machine. This allows you to run the original software written for an entirely different machine on your Windows PC.
