Czas na Genesis, a konkretnie na Gens v0.76 - czyli (bardzo)dobry windozowy emulator :))) W tej wersji wzrosła (podobno :) kompatybilność oraz- DMA FILL finally correct (i hope) - Little bug in windows/scrollA interaction fixed - STOP instruction fixed for "mine" 68000 engine Thunder Force IV and Todd's aventure fixed with "mine" core - 68000 interrupts fixed once again :) - Load / Save State improved: File is smaller Sound is correctly recovered Better stability - RAZE interrupt fixed, RAZE is now the default Z80 engine - Z80 Memory write/read fixed again - Z80 Interrupt timing modified - MMX detection rewritten again - You don't need anymore to reload a rom after changing the sample rate - Others little fix...

Do nowej wersji Wgens'a zapewne przyda się nowy tytuł z rosnącej kolekcji redumpów Genesis Power. Klasyczny shooter Elemental Master do Państwa dyspozycji:).

Minęło parę dni i mamy następną edycję tego emulatora Megadrive/Genesis pod Windows. * Menu selection fixed (2xSAI & Scanline) * Write/Read Z80 Ram fixed. (Grand Slam music is ok) * You can now pause emulation with ESC key. (automatically paused when the Gens window is desactivated) * High-resolution fullscreen finally complety fixed for all videos cards. * MMX detection code rewritten (no crashes anymore).

Wgens 0.7.2 Pojawił się nowy Wgens 0.72 - emulator Segi Genesis/Megadrive. W sam raz dla zbieraczy redumpów z Genesis Power;). * High-resolution fullscreen fixed for voodoo3 & savage4. * Repaint fixed for tnt2 in windowed mode. * 50% scanline added. * Interpolated scanline added. * NHL93 rom is fixed. Zerknijcie też na macierzystą stronę tego projektu.

Wgens z wersji na wersję staje się co raz ciekawszym emulatorem Genesis/Megadrive pod okienka.W ostatniej wersji chyba wprowadzenie engine SAI dosłownie zrzuca się w oczy:), dalej nie polecam używania fast blur [rozmywanie ekranu] jest za ostre. - 640x480 Full Screen resolution added. - 2xSAI Kreed's engine added (the same as zsnes or snes9x) ! - Scanline added. - AutoFrame-Skip synchronised on DirectSound (when available). Sound is a little better. - Interrupts fixed for both 68k core (Starscream and mine) - Correct screen ratio in windowed mode. - Save and sram files name of zipped roms are now correct. - Bad config files in "windows" directory fixed.

Także fani Megadrive/Genesis nie mają co narzekać została właśnie opublikowana najnowsza wersja Wgen'sa 0.6. Z ważnych poprawek w tej edycji - dodanie obsługi spakowanych archiwów, rozwiązanie kłopotów z obsługą paru kart graficznych i poprawiona emulacja Top Gear 2, Lotus 2, Bubsy, American Gladiators, Forgotten Worlds, i Road Rash 3. Do pobrania z T2E. * ZIP support added ! * We can define the directories for saves files. * Full-Screen is fixed for both voodoo3 and savage4 videos cards. * FM timers fixed (voices are now played at good pitch for comix zone, aladdin, cool spot ...) * H-Int finally fixed: Top Gear 2 and Lotus 2 looks good ! * Z80 interrupt fixed (bubsy works and censor smiley demo has music) * controllers code fixed again (American gladiators and Forgotten worlds are playable) * I've removed the hack for double » więcej

Coś na weekend, czy emulator konsoli Segi dla windozy (WGens v0.54) ze zmianami :) - PAL roms are now works at good speed (50 FPS) ! (Tintin, Spirou ... doesn't lock with country message any more) - Another bug in Starscream 68000 core fixed: Sonic2, terminator 2 (judment day), lemmings, royal blood ... works perfectly with Starscream. - Little bug in collision flag fixed (interaction with ennemies in strider2). (Thanks to Bart Trzynadlowski from Genital) - I've fixed some things in vertical and horizontal interrupts & flags, more games works: Super skidmarks, megalomania, gauntlet 4 ... - Some bugs fixed in window plan and VDP reg write. Tale spin, rolling thunder 2 (not sure for this rom), Abrams Battle tank, Rings of power ... are ok - Read/Write to CRAM, VSRAM fixed (taiwan tycoon V-Scroll, xennon 2 are ok) Z80 BUS request fixed (double » więcej

Uhhh... miłośnicy SEGI GENESIS/MEGADRIVE mogą dostać lekkiego kociokwiku przez... emulatory;) jest Wgen, Dgen i jeszcze pare genów z różnymi przedrostkami;). Tym razem wzbogaciliśmy się o nową wersję GENS 0.5 - Google, poprawiono opcję zapisu stanu gry, zwiększono bazę obsługiwanych romów, nieznacznie wzrosła także jego szybkość. Więcej szczegółów znajdziecie na rodzimej stronie emulatora. - I've enterely rewrite the VDP IO code: - DMA transferts appears near perfect and a lot of games works now correctly ! (Warsong, Batman and Robin, Contra 4, Shining force 2 ...) - Improvement of Control Decoding. (Electronics Arts Intro finally fixed !) - Reads and Writes more accurate ... - Save state files (.gs*) has changed du to new VDP code and it could exist problems when load old save files. - I've fixed a bug in Starscream 68000 » więcej

Po wczorajszym Wgensie przyszedl czas na nową wersję Generatora - Google - emulatora Segi Genesis/Megadrive pod Windows. Hmmm... dodano dźwięk, natomiast coś mi się wydaje, że będzie jeszcze jedna poprawka, moja karta ma problemy z obsługą nowych trybów zafundowanych przez Generator, u Was pewnie wszystko będzie ok;). preliminary FM Sound support autodetect color depth (and 555,565) New Version of mz80 being used (3.4) PSG Support added - Uses WaveOut by default, can use MIDIout a few new bugs to fix, Simple VDP mode is one of them "Standard" VDP mode is the default (line renderer)

Gens - Google jest emulatorem SEGI GENESIS/MEGADRIVE dla Windows i z kolejnymi jego edycjami jest co raz mniej powodów do narzekań:). Dodano obsługę dżojstika, poprawiono auto wybór języka [a w zasadzie typu konsoli amerykańska/europejska/japońska] i sporo innych bugów. Jakoż, że dział Genesis został zawieszony na jakiś czas, polecam do sprawdzenia trzy romy: Tyrants - Google, czyli nic innego jak Megalomania, Shadow Of The Beast - Google [heheh... puryści amigowi zatkać uszy] i nieśmiertelnego Sonica 3d - Google:).- Joystick support added ! (directx 5.0 needed) - Interlaced VDP mode added ! (can play at sonic in split mode but only with my 68000 core) - Fixed (again) auto-detection for some others country ... - Fixed H-Blank status in VDP - Some others few bugs fixed (Alt-Tab key, ...)

GensKMod is based on Gens and so uses the Starcream 680x0 library emulation for the genesis and Sega CD 68000 CPU emulation, the core has been customised and optimised for Gens. Gens original project is structured as follow : - Gens directory contains all gens sources except the CPU cores. - StarscreamMain68k directory contains the sources for the main 68000 (genesis 68000). - StarscreamSub68k directory contains the sources for the sub 68000 (Sega CD 68000). Gens uses 2 68000 cores for speed reasons : - No context swap required. - Each core is optimised for its function. To uses netplay features, Gens requires kailleraclient.dll, the file should be in the same directory as gens.exe
