Stella pozwoli nam powrócić do gier na jedną z pierwszych i jedną z najpopularniejszych konsol w historii gier video - Atari 2600 (VCS - Video Computer System). W oczekiwaniu na kolejną pełną wersję tego emulatora, zerknijmy na wersję repozytoryjną i na to, co przyniesie jego kolejna odsłona.

Pojawiła się kolejna wersja emulatora Stella, dzięki któremu możemy pobawić się w gry na konsolę ATARI2600. Co prawda brak jeszcze oficjalnych binarek (pojawia się pewnie lada chwila w katalogu na sourceforge) ale dla nieciepliwych kompilacja własna.

Szybka, biorąc pod uwagę, że parę dni temu dostaliśmy już w swoje ręce wersje 3.8, aktualizacja emulatora Stella, dzięki któremu możemy pobawić się w gry na konsolę ATARI2600. Oprócz poprawek w porcie dla Maczków, korekta, która pozwoli odpalić parę dodatkowych tytułów homebrew.

W rekordowo krótkim czasie dostaliśmy kolejną wersję emulatora konsoli ATARI2600 - tak naprawdę to poprawka do VSYNC i rozwiązanie problemu z kartem VideoChess.

Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600 written in the Go language. The accuracy of the emulation is very high and the 6507, TIA and RIOT chips appear to operate without bugs. Certainly, there are no known outstanding issues with any of the emulated chips. It compares favourably with Stella except for speed and final project polish.
