Kolejny Dolphin do pobrania, po setkach zmian w końcu ekipa pracująca nad tym emulatorem GameCube/Wii Nintendo postanowiła opublikować wersję 4.0.0, co prawda w parę godzin po oficjalnym releasie pojawiła się już notka o problemach z 64bitową wersją tej aplikacji na jednordzeniowych maszynkach, co zwiastuje rychłe ukazania się 4.0.1.  Reszta jednak spokojnie może sprawdzić, co potrafi nowa odsłona, w której wyraźnie postawiono na multiplay w sieci.

PPSSPP jest kolejnym młodym projektem emulatora Sony PSP, napisanym w C++ przez jednego ze współautorów emulatora Dolphin udającego konsolę Nintendo Wii/GameCube Henrika Rydgarda, jednak od wczoraj zyskał on, podobnie jak Dolphin status open source i każdy może korzystać z repozytorium na githubie. Jak zwykle w wypadku wersji x.x.1 to bugfix do ostatniej odsłony tego w chwili obecnej najlepszego emulatora PSP (pod warunkiem, że ma się szczęście i dana gra jest przez niego obsługiwana)
