This must be one of the most interesting versions in ages. They finally emulated Legionnaire, a game which I wanted to play since at least 2002. That, and lots of Game & Watch, neat !

New All games video. This time All MAME 0.172 games are included. Arcade games promoted to working status are shown as well as mechanical toys and devices, with a small image of what the original machines looked like. No clones are shown, only new working games. Remember that some of these games may require mame roms and mame chd files.

Most non arcade games featured require external artwork files to be like this video. Otherwise the games run but are only a bunch of led lights turning on and off.

Today we are starting a new series. I'm showing all new working arcade games for the (as of today) newest MAME version. MAME 0.171 adds not only arcade games but also home computers and other technological wonders of their time. This video only shows the arcade front and working games. No computers nor clone games.

MAME (an acronym of Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) is an emulator application designed to recreate the hardware of arcade game systems in software on modern personal computers and other platforms. The intention is to preserve gaming history by preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. The aim of MAME is to be a reference to the inner workings of the emulated arcade machines; the ability to actually play the games is considered "a nice side effect". Joystiq has listed MAME as an application that every gamer should have.
