Beyond Shadowgate is a 1987 sequel to Shadowgate ( https://tasvideos.org/37G ), released for the TurboGrafx CD. It is a 3rd person perspective point and click adventure game as opposed to the more 1st person perspective of the original game. In it, you must play as a Prince Erik, a long decendant of the first game's protagonist, who is framed for the murder of his father. Erik must escape and figure out the mystery behind his father's death.
