Nowa wersja jednego z najstarszych emulatorów NINTENDO 8 - RockNes.

Faust @ 14/06/2022 23:03

Every Epoch Cassette Vision Game Preserved and Emulated! – Gaming Alexandria

https://www.gamingalexandria.com/wp/2024/02/every-epoch-cassette-vision-game-preserved-and-emulated/

The release of Epoch’s Cassette Vision (カセットビジョン) console on July 30th, 1981 was a true milestone in Japan’s video game history. While not the first Japanese game console, it can be argued it was the first programmable one to have any major success, which paved the way for the Famicom. The Famicom’s release naturally led to the demise of the aging Cassette Vision, with Epoch’s Super Cassette Vision failing to take up that spot in the market it once held. The original had a solid four year run moving an estimated 500,000 units – a success when Japan’s console market was in its infancy. The system originally retailed for ¥13,500. There was also a revised version of the console called the “Jr.” shipped just days after the Nintendo Famicom at a very cheap ¥5000 price tag, which extended the console’s lifespan.

Marsport: Index

http://www.luny.co.uk/gargoyle/marsport/

I am currently working on disassembling Marsport. To begin with I started by scanning through and extracting all the text, then moved onto the bitmaps, using Skoolkit to produce HTML. From this it was an easy step to relate code to text and the bitmaps, which so far has allowed me to expose: The offscreen, where the game area is built up, then blitted to the screen. Some graphic blit routines. The main menu. The final winning screen. Save and load routines

ArcCabView

http://www.emuline.org/topic/2598-arccabview-display-your-arcade-games-just-as-you-want/

ArcCabView is a ReShade's shader made by Ducon2016 and Aubrel to display your game (nearly all your games) just as you want. It's still mainly designed to display arcade oriented games in cabinets and that's why its now named like that. In some case a launcher can be provided too in order to be more friendly to use. This shader is the results of months of work. It's an evolution of CRTGeomMOD (written from CRTGeom by cgwg, Themaister and DOLLS) with some new features, many changes and fully merged with the shader PinCabView. Nearly everything was rewritten in order to fix and avoid some old CRTGeomMOD issues and to get better performances and results. As a comparaison, with all the options activated (even the new ones) it's now approx 70% faster than CRTGeomMOD v3.2 !!
