The story of the game follows an old kingdom, where terror reigns. An evil sorcerer is ruling the land. Then one day, he is challenged by a barbarian Knight who is traveling from a foreign land to seek fame and fortune. You take control of the brave knight as you decide the fate of the Kingdom. You will fight your way through six levels going through the forest and into the old castle to overthrow the evil sorcerer and bring back peace to the land.​

Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600 written in the Go language. The accuracy of the emulation is very high and the 6507, TIA and RIOT chips appear to operate without bugs. Certainly, there are no known outstanding issues with any of the emulated chips. It compares favourably with Stella except for speed and final project polish.
