Aleks Keprt opublikował nową wersję swojego emulatora "ASCD", który pozwoli nam zaemulować jedną z najbardziej niespełnionych konstrukcji z lat osiemdziesiątych ośmiobitowym mikrokomputerem - SAM COUPE.
ASCD posiada możliwość tworzenia snapshotów, a celem jaki autor sobie wybrał jest możliwość nagrywania filmów video z przebiegu emulacji.
Osobom, które wcześniej nie bawiły się emulatorem SAMA jak i samym Samem warto przypomnieć, że aby odpalić obraz dyskietki należy wpisać 'boot' na ekranie startowym.
Przy okazji emulacji SAMA warto wspomnieć jeszcze o emulatorze SimCoupe, który co prawda od dłuższego czasu nie był aktualizowany (ostatnia edycja dla Win32 w 2006 roku, w tym roku pojawiła się wersja dla MacOSX), jednak sądząc po pracach na jego repozytorium otrzymamy nową wersję tego emulatora w bliżej nieokreślonym czasie;).
