Retroaction zamieściło krótką notkę o premierowym numerze internetowego zinu kierowanego do fanów arcade - "Retrpcade Magazine". Jest to komercyjny projekt, aby dostać się do zawartości trzeba wyskoczyć z 5$ zamawiając go na łamach Stoneage Gamer.
Jak zwykle z tytułami, które pojawiają się nagle i bez przemyślanej kampanii, jest zawsze ten sam problem, czy kupować coś czego na oczy nie widzieliśmy, coś czego nie można przekartować a co w końcu kosztuje całkiem sporo jak na kolejny plik na dysku. Wierząc osobom, które polecają ten magazyn - Todd Rogers (Król Wideo gier z 2001 roku, mistrz GORF'a i DRAGSTERA), Rudy J. Ferretti (przekręcający liczniki punktów w grach na NES, warto zerknąć na jego kanał na youtubie), Catherine DeSpira (posiadaczka ponad osiemdziesięciu maszyn arcade i... grająca w gry arcade, co jest pewnym ewenementem wśród płci pięknej) i najważniejszej nobilitacji w postaci założyciela TwinGalaxies - Walter Day - warto.
Cóż poczekam na dłuższe recenzję, być może twórcom RCM przyjdzie do głowy wypuścić demo, tak jak w wypadku np. ATARI USER (chociaż, tak jak pisałem już wcześniej, przez podejście do dystrybucji i kwestii kontaktu nie ma o czym już pisać). Zawierzając opinii Retroaction otrzymujemy magazyn o dobrej treści, jednak z fatalnym layoutem, co jest wybaczalne przy projektach darmowych, jednak w wypadku komercyjnych (nawet jeśli zbiera się pieniądze na "chomika") już nie.
