Champ Games is pleased to begin offering our Atari 2600 games in ROM form so players who want to support our efforts but don't necessarily own an Atari system to play physical cartridges or just aren't in to collecting boxes, manuals, etc.
To start, we are offering ROM purchases for three of our most popular games: Galagon, Wizard of Wor Arcade, and Mappy!

Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600 written in the Go language. The accuracy of the emulation is very high and the 6507, TIA and RIOT chips appear to operate without bugs. Certainly, there are no known outstanding issues with any of the emulated chips. It compares favourably with Stella except for speed and final project polish.

If you're reading this page, chances are that you're already well aware that E.T. for the Atari 2600 is one of the most reviled games ever made. I never understood why. As a child, it was one of my favorite games. I still think it's a good game. Apparently, I'm not alone.
On this page I'm going to briefly explore why people hate E.T., and how the game can be fixed.

The Atari 2600 Video Computer System (VCS), introduced in 1977, was the most popular home video game system of the early 1980's. Now you can enjoy all of your favorite Atari 2600 games on your PC thanks to Stella!
Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Stella was originally developed for Linux by Bradford W. Mott, and is currently maintained by Stephen Anthony. Since its original release several people have joined the development team to port Stella to other operating systems such as AcornOS, AmigaOS, DOS, FreeBSD, IRIX, Linux, OS/2, MacOS, Unix, and Windows.
