Arcadia is not only a pretty traditional shoot 'em up, but this remake is also a remake of one of the earliest big-selling action games on the ZX Spectrum. There are only two rules; shoot...and survive! My projects tend to grow bigger and bigger with each game, so with this game the idea was to remake something simple ...

Yumiko wants to save her family from the haunted mansion. This is my current project for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Code is finished, but there is still a lot to do. I plan to include 32 levels. This is a Sinclair ZX81 implemented mostly in GAL IC's (six in total) and five 74HC IC's, plus the Z80, ROM and RAM. The chips and keyboard all fit onto the one board. There's enough room to add an AY-3-8912 sound chip, which I will do later.
