Zeus presents SDI - Strategic Defense Initiative on the Arcade, a true classic from the golden era of Arcade gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1987
Loved this game on the Atari ST,...loved it even more on the Amiga with that pumping soundtrack so it was interesting to finally play the arcade parent thanks to MAME.
The idea is to protect the planet by shooting down all of the nuclear missiles, bombs and other destructive stuff that are trying to destroy it and you do that by aiming your crosshair over the missiles and shoot them down which is not easy at the best of times let alone trying to play it with a PS3 controller.
I have used the infinite damage MAME cheat so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure.
I hope all you retro game fans enjoy this upload especially enough to subscribe if you haven't already and if you'd like to support my channel then please consider a small donation to my channel as this will help me to keep up the video uploads and the channel growing (Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/Zeusdaz)
Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing,...except arcade uploads which are using MAME.
I will also always state weather I'm using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.
Check out my channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/ZEUSDAZ/videos), dedicated to gamers who loved the games of yesteryear.
Switch to 720p for best video quality and feel free to leave comments on my channel and vid's.
Keeping the memory of Arcade games alive!!!
