Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time TAS in 16:57.69 by MrGrunz and Bloobiebla

Opis filmu

This tool-assisted speedrun by Bloobiebla and MrGrunz (me) aims to beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in as little a time as possible by abusing several tricks and glitches. Subscribe to Bloobiebla's Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/Bloobiebla HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! This actually wasn't supposed to be a Christmas present, because we expected to finish this rather in October or something, but this is definitely a great time to eventunally publish this anyway. Bloob and I decided to finally turn Ocarina of Time TASes into a frame war similar to Super Mario 64 so every section took forever. But quality needs its time, simply the way it is. The encode has been once again done by Aktan, who is a true master at what he does (like you can clearly see). Very very huge thanks to him. This time I was probably not as annoying as the last time^^ This run was made on an emulator, using frame-by-frame shooting, savestates, and rerecords to overcome things like reaction time and human error. As such, it is purely a form of entertainment, and is not designed to show skill. The various tricks and glitches, such as the Wrong Warp Glitch, have been described by me here: http://tasvideos.org/3826S.html This TAS is the result of half a year of hard work on the game. There were many new glitches which we abused to improve the old run massively. At the same time we also saved time at many many sections that are done the same way simply by optimizing them even better. I think Ocarina of Time can now be viewed as an official part of the "Frame War League". This run was made by Bloobiebla and MrGrunz. It should not be uploaded without first getting permission from us. Any anti-TAS comments will be deleted. Seriously, if you're just going to call it "cheating" or something equally ridiculous, don't even bother commenting at all. Save us both a bit of time. ---- Check out http://TASVideos.org/ to find out more about tool-assisted speedruns, and to watch the many already-existing awesome TASes.
