F-15 Strike Eagle II is the sequel to F-15 Strike Eagle, originally released for the Atari 8-bit family in 1984 by Microprose and released again in 1987 for the Amstrad, Atari ST, commodore 64 etc.
This sequel was developed by MPS Labs and released by Microprose in 1989.
The plane is equipped only with three types of missiles, the sidewinder, AMRAAMS and Mavericks, it also includes the M61 Vulcan.
In F-15 Strike Eagle II there are six scenarios, each with one mission. The scenarios are -
1. Libya
2. The Persian Gulf
3. Vietnam
4. The Middle East
5. The North Cape
6. Central Europe
Promotions and medals are achieved based on mission scores.
The game is more of a basic non complicated action flight sim than the normal near realistic flight sims of the previous Falcon and Fighter Bomber games.
