Cały czas rozwijany javowski emulator halfnes, który pozwala powrócić do świata gier Nintendo8 przez darknighta został znów opublikowany z kolejnym szczątkowym numerkiem. HalfNes 0.027.2 (12/02/2011) perhaps THIS will solve the problems with Windows XP. (Last version worked ok on the first XP machine I tried, but not the second.) HalfNes 0.027.1 (2/11/2011) Switched back to the old frame limiter code, now things should hopefully work right on Windows XP again. Also fixed the crash when audio was disabled. HalfNes 0.027 (2/4/2011) Since I'm trapped at home in a snowstorm with nothing else to do, might as well release. Modified MMC3 scanline counter, which fixed Super Mario 3 and Silver Surfer Made the APU counter count 4x a frame instead of 5 (off by one error) which makes music in a lot of older » więcej

Cały czas rozwijany javowski emulator halfnes, który pozwala powrócić do świata gier Nintendo8 dostał nowy zastrzyk zmian w kodzie w efekcie: HalfNes 0.026.1 SVN48 Figured out that the APU frame counter was being clocked 5 tines instead of 4, so fixed that. Also made the MMC3 scanline counter not be clocked when rendering is off or the sprites and backgrorunds are using the same pattern table which fixed Super Mario 3! yay

Sądząc po wczorajszym SVN45, autor zwalczył problem, w niektórych tytułach do końca (Smash Brothers, Parodius, Bad Dudes) i postanowił dać oficjalny relase swojego emulatora NINTENDO 8 pracującym w JAVIE. Deweloperska wersja tego emulator NINTENDO 8, napisanego do pracy w środowisku JAVY. Poprawki dotyczą przedewszystkim problemów z audio i pewnie jeszcze chwilę autorowi zejdzie nim zrobi z tym pełen porządek:P. Ale patrząc nawet po numerze wersji, ma na to kupę czasu. HalfNes 0.025 SVN45 I have all the Konami VRC2 and VRC4 games working now. Still some glitches with the scanline counter (Parodius's status bar flickers) but that may just be my bad timing in general. HalfNes 0.025 SVN44 Fixed Bad Dudes... I think? Implemented Sunsoft-01 Mapper, made a start on VRC4 but haven't done the scanline counter and the graphics banks are still all wrong. HalfNes 0.025 SVN42 Redid the frame limiter yet again since I figured out how to change the buffer size. It's a whole lot simpler and works even better. Audio latency is reduced, I only get one pop every few minutes, and the square channels are now zero biased, so the pops are a lot less noticeable. Also, sound works while fast forwarding. (Doesn't sound great because frames are dropped out of the audio, but whatever.) And I made a few changes to the CPU code, just anywhere that I thought looked ugly or cumbersome. Po bardzo krótkim okresie znów dostajemy pełen relase emulator Nintendo 8 napisanego w JAVIE - sporo poprawek. HalfNes 0.025 Fixed the stupid stupid bug that would probably make the file dialog impossible to open on any system that hasn't had HalfNES on it before! (remember: if you haven't tested it, it does not work.) Changed the file dialog to one that doesn't look terrible on a Mac (but now I can't filter files by extension on Windows. oh well.) Added keyboard shortcuts to the menus and rearranged them a bit Added a fast forward toggle Fixed mapper 66 Fixed controller reading for Paperboy and Captain Planet the palette mirroring code passes blargg's test now Background of Kirby's Adventure fixed... that one was because the first byte of expansion RAM was always write protected. Po ostatnim SVn'ie tego emulatora NINTENDO 8, w którym autorowi posypała się lista opcji, kolejny naprawiający, został opublikowany jako oficjalna wersja 0.024. HalfNes 0.024 (17/01/2010) Added options dialog for easier remapping of keys, fixed Solstice and Ninja Gaiden, settings are now saved in java's Preferences store.

Ostatnia oficjalna wersja programu to 0.023 [r36] HalfNes 0.023 r37 (28/12/2010) Fixed graphics corruption in Solstice; also apparently I deleted the line where I was turning off the vblank flag when it was read, so I put that back and Dizzy works again. There probably won't be any more updates for a while, since class has started up again now.

HalfNes 0.023 (4/01/2011) Fixes a couple of very noticeable bugs - reset command works and Gradius works right again. .HalfNes 0.022 SVN35 (3/01/2011) Quick bugfix - reset menu item didn't do anything. (also... I broke Gradius, but not sure why yet.) HalfNes 0.022 SVN34 (3/01/2011) ACTUAL release 0.022 - fixed that annoying sound bug where channels don't cut off! Took ten seconds when I figured out where to look.

Jako spóźniony prezent noworoczny darkhelmet opublikował pełny numerek swojego emulatora NINTENDO 8 pracującym w JAVIE. HalfNes 0.022 (3/01/2011) Wow, it's been a while. Added Player 2 controller support, can remap the buttons in the settings.txt file. Improved rendering: Gauntlet runs full speed on my computer when it didn't before,the status bars of Zelda II and Ninja Gaiden now look right, in general performance is about 20 percent better because the drawing code is more efficient.Back to the Future works but has random unexplained glitches. Made a few additional tweaks to the MMC3 code, now Might and Magic works but SMB3 is unchanged. Also eliminated a potential crash after attempting to load a game with an unsupported mapper. Next I'm going to try messing with the frame timer a bit.

So I need to rewrite that in a sensible way at some point.

The PRG1 ROM works if you let it sit on the title screen for a few seconds, but the PRG0 ROM will ONLY start if you repeatedly hammer Start as soon as you load it, and then it's stuck paused. Or, once in every thirty tries or so, it tries to start, glitches, shows a Mario sprite for a few seconds, and you start in World 2.
