Widelands is an open source (GPLed) real-time strategy game. It is built upon the SDL and other open source libraries and is (and will always be) under heavy development. If you knew Settlers I & II™ (© Bluebyte), then you already have a rough idea what Widelands is all about because widelands is heavily inspired by those two games.

XU4 is a remake of the computer game Ultima IV. The goal is to make it easy and convenient to play this classic on modern operating systems. XU4 is primarily inspired by the much more ambitious project Exult. XU4 is a cross-platform application thanks to SDL; it's available for Windows, MacOS X, Linux and more.
This project is currently under development and beta releases are available. The game is fully playable from beginning to end. The very latest source code can always be accessed from SVN. Please post a message in our discussion forum if you are interested in helping.
A secondary goal of this project is to clearly document the formats of the data files from the original Ultima IV.

Started on June 2002, Yoda Soccer is a project which intends to create a new free game for Windows with the gameplay and the style of the well known Sensible World of Soccer (a.k.a. SWOS). This doesn't mean that we'll redo swos for this OS, it would be only a waste of time, but we'll try to add many features missed in Swos. If you want to know more about this, please go in the Info section.
Yoda soccer is written in Blitzmax (www.blitzmax.com) language. The source code is open and availaible for everyone who want to help us to improve the game.

MID OF THE XXII CENTURY
Pollution and its consequences make life on Earth impossible. At that moment, Earth governments come together to fund a plan of outer space colonization.
They created a huge spaceship that will carry a true continent with different ecosystems, and about 5000 brave human, travelling through space to find a new planet that is suitable to host the mankind.
As the mankind has shown that isn't able to take care of themselves, the control of the colony is under the command of a super computer, called Cray-5, which monitors all parameters so that are appropriate for all species travelling inside, and they can live safely throughout the voyage, whose final destination is unknown.
As the lead designer of the Cray-5 processor, you did not hesitate to volunteer to go on the ship. The perfection of the processor makes it impossible to have any problem during the voyage, but the mission objective is fascinating.

At the beginning, Abandonia was nothing special. A simple site hosted on a subdomain with a couple of games, which by today's standards couldn't even be considered abandoned. Among those were popular titles, such as LucasArts' classics, Doom 2 and Wolfenstein 3D.

Strona IK+ C64 to Atari 8-bit Conversion Project powstała na początku 2002 roku, kiedy przeczytałem post Pawła Rosowskiego na pl.comp.sys.atari. Pisał, że od dawna ma ochotę na konwersję swojej ulubionej gry IK+ z C64 na małe Atari. Ponieważ jestem grafikiem i totalnym lamerem jeżeli chodzi o programowanie, w ramach pomocy stworzyłem i aktualizowałem stronę projektu. W ciągu roku strona okazało się, że strona jest bardzo popularna wśród użytkowników ośmiobitowego Atari, o czym świadczy liczba odwiedzających ją internautów (ponad 1200 sztuk ;) z całego świata. Niestety nigdy nie było czasu przygotować rozsądnej angielskiej wersji - aż do dziś. Przy okazji zmieniłem również szatę graficzną. Podziękowania dla wszystkich którzy kibicują i pomagają w tworzeniu IK+: internautów odwiedzających stronę, koderów, polskich użytkowników z pl.comp.sys.atari - jednej z najfajniejszych grup, na którch miałem okazję bywać. Open Sonic is an open-source game based on the "Sonic the Hedgehog" universe. It introduces a different style of gameplay called cooperative play, in which it's possible to control 3 characters simultaneously. Unlike most similar games, Open Sonic provides a greater level of interaction between the player and the levels. It's more than just a jump'n'run; the user must come up with some strategy in order to get through the levels.
Open Sonic is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
