Nowa wersja emuiatore Fuse (Free Unix Spectrum Emulator), powstająca natywnie pod linuksa, doczekała się kolejnej wersji. W końcu pojawiły się binarki dla PC. Przy okazji warto wspomnieć o emulatorze... stacji dyskietek do Timexa - projekt FDD3000, który wykorzystuje FUSE do pracy i wczoraj opublikował swoją binarkę 1.7 ciut wcześniej niż oficjalne repo projektu;)

SpecIde emulator ZX Spectrum i częściowo Amstrada CPC (prace trwają). Emulacja Amstrad CPC jest wciąż w fazie rozwoju, ale w większości przypadków wystarczy do grania w większość gier.  Emulator nie posiada zbyt wybujałego menu, aby pobawić się innymi modelami Spectrusia, czy też CPC, musimy sięgnąć do linii komend (lub edytując plik .cfg), więc na pewno nie zastąpi o wiele prostszych rozwiązań jak Spectaculator czy Fuse. Jednak emulatorów gumiaka nigdy nie zawiele - to chyba trzecia po Nintendo 8 i GameBoy'ach platforma najchętniej udawana.

Fuse (the Free Unix Spectrum Emulator) was originally, and somewhat unsurprisingly, a ZX Spectrum emulator for Unix. However, it has now also been ported to Mac OS X, which may or may not count as a Unix variant depending on your advocacy position. It has also been ported to Windows, the Wii, AmigaOS and MorphOS, which are definitely not Unix variants.
