The 3dfx Chipset does *NOT* do 24 or 32bit rendering... AT ALL. This means that using Direct3D acceleration with these cards is only possible with 16bits!

* If you set your desktop to 24 or 32 bit and are trying to run bleem! in a window with 3D Hardware, it won't work.

* If you set your bleem! FullScreen settings to use a 24- or 32-bit resolution with 3D Hardware, it won't work.

PLEASE make sure that you set your desktop and FullScreen settings to use 16-bit if you are using a Voodoo card for 3D acceleration!

Only Voodoo Banshee and Voodoo 3 are able to run D3D in Windowed Mode.

Running a Banshee in windowed mode consumes large amounts of VRAM if the desktop is higher than 800x600.

Use the Reference Drivers from 3dfx.com.

Config Tip : MANAGERED TEXTURES should be OFF!
