Pantheon jest w miarę świeżym multiemulatorem, który pozwoli nam odświeżyć sobie tytuły na ATARI2600 i 5200, aczkolwiek patrząc na nieaktywną listę konsol i mikrokomputerów celem autora - słoweńca Bostjana Grandoveca jest stworzenie emulatora wszystkich popularnych platform z lat 80 i 90.
Pantheon należy do grupy multiemulatorów, które zwalniają nas z potrzeby poszukiwania gier - po prostu klikamy w nazwę obsługiwanego tytułu a ten po zassaniu jej z sieci odpala ją, uwalniając nas od zbytniego wysiłku;). Cóż, obawiam się po ostatnim aferze z Pigwą, że tego typu rozwiązanie ma przed sobą dość krótką karierę - znowu budzą się nadzieje starych graczy wśród deweloperów, że uda im się wyssać jeszcze pare inflacyjnych dolarów z tytułów sprzed dwudziestu lat.
Powracając jednak do programu, na plus "Pantheona" na pewno przemawia prostota i przejrzystość programu, każdy tytuł posiada odpowiednie streszczenie i obrazek z gry, każda platforma gustowny opis. Jednak sam emulator, cóż wymaga niestety trochę mocy od maszynki, na której jest odpalony.
Wybór pierwszych emulowanych konsol nie jest przypadkowy, wśród gier i programów jakie znajdziemy na stronie autora, można znaleźć także emulator procka 6502;).
