The latest iNES 5.8 for Windows and Linux, released on October 14 2020, adds a separate option for linear interpolation scaling. I have also majorly refactored scaling and special effects framework and added a simple CPU-based linear interpolation scaler, for cases where GPU-based interpolation is unfeasible. Finally, the Windows version now supports drag'n'drop for all relevant files.
