DCMICROCOLOR jest, obok DAlice, emulatorem francuskiego mikrokomputera z połowy lat osiemdziesiątych Alice firmy MATRA HACHETTE, a także TANDY MC10. Autorem programu jest Daniel Coulom, ten sam, który w emulatorze DCMoto przypominał inną francuską konstrukcje - rodzinę komputerów THOMPSON.
