[Arcade] NeoRaine v1.3.2 \"final touch\"

Projekt NeoRaine - emulator Neo Geo i Neo Geo CD, bazujący na kodzie RAINE (emulujący m.in. takie tytuły arcade jak Rainbow Islands (Extra and Original), Toki, Rastan, Mega Blast czy też Puzzle Bobble 3) został zaktualizowany.

NeoRaine v1.3.2 14.03.2012

  • The main change is that it fixes last blade 2 which was impossible to run in 1.3.1 because of an overly optimistic change... Except that not much, the start of the screen is adjusted for the rasters which fixes the moving clouds in neo turf masters, and makes riding hero more like the video of the original console on youtube. Most of the code for the rasters has been rewritten again, but so far it's quite disappointing. It shouldn't be slower than the previous version though, and even if I couldn't test everything it should be ok ! By the way I keep it like the other 1.3.x versions: the source and the detailed changelog is in the git section ! (Tux)

Rewrite of rasters, once again

  • Changes the start of screen to fix moving clouds in neo turf and to make ridhero to look like the video on youtube taken from the real console. The timer interrupt is not in lines anymore but really in cycles. Handling out of screen irqs is more natural even if it doesn't produce any significant change
  • the drawing of the rasters is done directly when the contents of the sprite ram is changed, instead of when the timer interrupt is triggered. It's more like the original hw works, even if it doesn't produce any visible change.

NeoRaine v1.3.1 14.02.2012

  • NeoRaine 1.3.1 is released. I was lazy with 1.3.0, leaving the users to do the testing, and I got a bug report + a long list of things to check. So this new version is the result of this. Normally rasters work everywhere, even in super sidekicks 2 & 3 (which are really hard with rasters in neocd... !).

    • finally fix the display for super sidekicks 2 & 3
    • allow calling do_break from game

    • neocd: Rewrite of rasters
    • close audio before calling saStopSoundEmulators
    • neocd: quite a lot of small fixes
      • the watchdog is disabled again: it was trigered during the raster effect in the aof demo. More problems than advantages -> gone again
      • if a 2nd "hbl" was asked on the same line, the 2nd one was lost. So I added an ugly workaround for that, seen in neo turf masters for example.
      • in a raster frame, the vbl could be trigered many times, it was apparently harmless on the games, but it's fixed anyway.
      • A speed hack could prevent the vbl in a raster frame, seen in karnov's revenge for example (in this case the game was freezing).

NeoRaine v1.2.13 26.11.2011

  • fixed a bug in which NeoRaine would crash if not finding the audio track in the folder;
  • pause in lost focus state is now optional;
  • changed the behavior when leaving the NGCD BIOS interface;
  • now the NGCD BIOS file is detected in either lower and uppercase;

This version's goal was to show if translating ssrpg (samurai spirits rpg) is possible or not. The answer is yes...
